The Opportunity


We have big goals here at Medibank we are looking for a Marketing Leader to join us on a 12 month contract and help us work towards our 2030 vision. What’s that, you ask? Its simple – we want to create the best health and wellbeing for Australia.


As Marketing Manager Health, you’ll manage the development and delivery of multi channel marketing programs that translate business problems into technical outcomes, to deliver on our corporate KPIs and work towards this vision.


You will drive the development of a multi program strategy and deliver marketing projects that accelerate enrolments into our programs, as well as improving member experience and engagement. We are proud to offer our members more than 20 Health programs and services including Chemo at Home, Medibank Type 2 Diabetes, and No Gap Total Joint Replacement to name a few. Day to day this role will see you

  • Applying a ‘customer obsessed’ lens while solving business problems
  • Seeking opportunities to accelerate enrolments and improve member experience through journey integration, personalisation and multi-program efficiencies.
  • Putting your stakeholder management skills to good use – this role works with a broad range of people across the business who you’ll be working with closely.
  • Managing the development and delivery of ‘Live Better Monthly’ in partnership with our Marketing Specialist. This is a monthly email to our members featuring a range of useful health and wellbeing content.
  • Using data insights and analysis to develop new initiatives with a test and learn approach that capitalizes on market opportunities.
  • Being able to think strategically while you get into the detail, project managing and executing outputs to meet deadlines.
  • Taking time out to recharge – you might hit the pavement for a walking meeting with a colleague, pop out to a lunchtime gym class or take a mid morning meditation break.
  • Utilising the go to market process to design and deliver multi-channel customer journeys.
  • Creatively working through complex campaign requirements and translate business needs into effective campaigns, while still ensuring compliance and efficiency.

What do we need from you?


First and foremost, you’ll need to be passionate about health and wellbeing, and the idea of helping others live their best lives will really excite you. You’ll be an experienced people Leader, having significant experience in digital and/or relationship marketing, ideally grown in the health or service industries. A proven track record in integrated marketing and go-to-market planning and execution is essential (including digital marketing).


We are open to you putting your stamp on this role. If you’re really passionate about paid media, content strategy or something else in this space we would love you to bring these skills to the role and make your mark.
