You will be responsible for activities aimed at proving a concept to be valid or technically feasible. The application of scientific / engineering methodologies will be administered. Objective of demonstrating through test or analyses the performance and implementation potential of a concept.
As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting routine laboratory tests, including the necessary checks and operations of equipment required in the laboratory.
- Working together with people from the business unit. Contacts are under guidance and/or geared towards collecting or giving technical information.
- Executing routine analyses using vested methods and technologies and/or contributes to technological developments in teams under supervision.
- Performing moderately complex assignments which may include equipment, facilities or product design.
- Carrying out all required responsibilities safely and as described in the standard operations manual. Communicates results to supervisor in detailed manner.

To be successful in this role you will:
Have a college or a high school diploma/GED with experience in Chemical Laboratory.
Have 2 to 5 years of experience in a Oil & chemical or petrochemical plant.
Have exposure to Chemical Lab Applications.
Have relevant Physical & Chemical properties instrumentation handling experience.
HSE and ISO Standards experience is a must.
Have the Experience of Laboratory Related Applications
Have good oral and written communication skills.
Have intermediate to advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
Have good understanding of plant safety.
