JOB SCOPE The manning of the Hotel's Reception and switchboard

and meeting customer requirements.
Overseeing Public areas and toilet facilities in the absence of a Porter.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
· Greeting and checking in and checking out of Hotel guests.
· Accurate control of all billing for all hotel charges incurred through the front office system.
· Accurate control of payments and monetary float control.
· Preparation of daily banking.
· Accurate production and communication of daily figures.
· To produce management reports as required by the General Manager.
· Answering switchboards and passing on calls.
· Taking reservations for accommodation and restaurants.
· Compiling of daily A&D list, Housekeeper Reports and Sales Ledger information.
· Providing customer information and general PR at all times.
· To deal with brochure enquiries.
· To maintain accurate and precise records of the above.
· To ensure confirmation is received and sent.
· To follow up on all guest questionnaires and produce comment reports.
· To produce all reports weekly advance room sales and information as required by the General Manager.
KEY TARGETS
· To achieve maximum room/sleeper occupancy at all times and maximise sales in-house.
· To work in conjunction with other local Hotels.
GENERAL
· To attend any training courses arranged by the Company.
· To attend when required departmental meetings with the General Manager and your Head of Department.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £10.50-£11.00 per hour
