Junior Software Developer
Location: Spine Tower Saat Sokak No:5 Kat:24, Maslak/Sarıyer, 34485 Istanbul
About your role
- According to defined project(s)/contract(s)/CR’s : Design and develop software applications’ modules using good knowledge and skills in order to fulfill requirements according the specification and and project plan/ estimated time.
- Removing and fixing moderate bugs in the software applications to ensure quality control of the application modules
- Testing newly developed functions and modules (especially unit tests) to ensure quality control of software applications, configuring the test environment and supporting the testing teams (We have test automation experts on our team and many of our tests are automated, and our business analysts also perform our manual tests)
- Details and continually updates technical documentation to make it compatible with software applications' latest version
- Maintenance and appropriate level support of the software applications to provide fully functional, operational and optimized applications by the defined project(s)/contract(s)/CRs / SLA
- According to defined project(s)/contract(s)/CR’s :
- Installation and migration of software systems, installation and configuration of moderate product modules, installation and migration of data to meet client requirements and improve the system performance
- Follows in time and accurately the working procedures related to time tracking and project planning, according to internal tools (i.e. Jira), to assure effort visibility and resource planning activities and allow accurate motorization of specific KPIs
- According to defined project(s)/contract(s)/CR’s : Technical analysis of the client needs and transforming them into tasks
About you
- 1-2 years of experience.
- Technical design, troubleshooting, analytical thinking, building business logic of software, ability to work independently and within groups.
- Good knowledge of Java Enterprise Edition,
- Basic know-how in the Spring Framework and/or Angus and/or React.
- React knowledge is plus.
- Good know-how on Relational Databases.
- Good know-how on SQL.
- Apache Kafka knowledge is plus.
- Cassandra knowledge is plus.
- Microservice architecture knowledge is plus.
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related.
- Good level of English speaking and understanding skill
