We're adding to our team in St. John's, NL, and are looking to hire an Upholsterer who wants to be on the cusp of innovation in working with PAL Technical Services.
As an Upholsterer your main duty will be to carry out upholstery operations on aircraft interiors. You will also be responsible for, but not limited to, the fabrication, installation and repair of upholstery for aircraft galleys, dividers and other furnishings, including aircraft seats and interior furnishings, walls and other interior areas.
The successful candidate should be proficient in one or more of the following areas:
- cutting and sewing techniques
- cutting/laying carpet or flooring
- ability to laminate (remove/install Aerofilm decorative covering) aircraft interiors
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year Upholstery experience, supported by Education or equivalent
- Meticulous attention to detail
- The ability to provide results and meet deadlines is an absolute must
