General Manager - Couple:Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid RSA Driver's License
- Proficient in Office Suite and Email
- Exceptional Guest Relations skills
- Ability to manage staff
- Understanding and ability to manage the different departments
- Ability to plan ahead and problem solve
- Financial experience in budget control, stock takes and stock control

- Previous experience in a Big 5 reserve and 5 star lodge necessary
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Big 5 reserve
- Experience working with a point of sale system
- ResRequest experience will be beneficial
- Salary is negotiable depending on experience and references

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Meticulous in all aspects of managing the lodge
- Managing, Overseeing and Disciplining Staff
- Staff training and development
- Assisting the marketing manager to get content for social media
- Hosting Duties
- Allocation of Airport Transfers
- Little paws program
- Assistance around the lodge in other departments if needed
- Reporting to Group Operations Manager(s) and Head Office
- Wage costs and staff welfare
- Staff discipline
- Staff training
Financial
- Budget control and ensuring budgets are maintained
- Stock control and stock takes
- Maintain the correct allocations of expenditures
- Manage the housekeeping and front office departments in conjunction with your HOD
- Ensure the lodge maintains the required standards aesthetically
- Food and Beverage and Kitchen
- Ensure costs are maintained as per the required standard
- Assist with Events planning and execution
- Assist with menu planning and cost control
- Mature and responsible
- Well spoken, well-groomed and presentable
- Strong leadership capabilities
