Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in a similar position
  • Diploma/Degree in Electronic engineering (non negotiable)
  • Additional Electrical engineering will be an advantage
  • Dealing with retailers
  • Good computer skills
  • Knowledge about electronic consumables such as projectors, mobile power stations, audio systems, security cameras etc.
  • Logical thinking
  • Ability to analyse and organize
  • Attention to detail
  • Good work attitude

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Managing staff -- Supervise & monitor technicians and admin staff of the service center to meet company procedure & management requirement.
  • Assisting customers -- Assist on technical issues & request assistance from products department when necessary.
  • Job number booking -- Repair & returns are booked according to company return policy.
  • Monitor collections -- follow up the results with responsible staff
  • Spare parts -- Monitor high value spare parts stock in & out and count & check stock discrepancy on the ERP system.
  • Monitor Workshop performance -- Technically assist workshop on repairs, analyse unrepairable stock & find solutions, communicate & feedback product defects with the suppliers.
  • Monitor exchange -- Check if all repairs and exchanges are dispatched.
  • Monitor Takealot return & SAP capture -- Check if correct warehouse of returns are captured.
  • Check SAP return captures -- Check the captured returns between both ERP & SAP
  • Monitor Filing -- All collection & dispatch documents are uploaded on ERP system
  • Housekeeping
  • Stock management -- Ensure stock are allocated in right areas & handled with care (received, waiting for technician, repair in workshop, completed repair, completed return are separated)
  • Technician management -- Analysis on technician individual performance
  • Monitor and assist Stock transfer -- Check if transfers are conducted on time and ensure stock transfer procedure is followed correctly on both ERP & SAP
  • Stock scrap -- Determine qualified scrapping stock monthly
  • Reporting -- Monthly reports on; repair analysis, technician performance, products problem & solution analysis report, transfers & scraps and TakeAlot return follow ups
  • Managing department -- Identify, report and resolve problems within the department.

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: R30,000.00 - R35,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Midrand, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
