JOIN US TO OPEN THE HILTON GARDEN INN BRUSSELS AIRPORT

In view of the upcoming opening of the Hotel and the first restaurant Babette in Belgium, we are recruiting a Food & Beverage Manager who will be responsible to organize and manage the activities of the Food & Beverage department, including the Babette Bruxelles Restaurant, Kitchen, Banquet Operations, Bar and the Shop (Grab & Go), to maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and insure outstanding customer service.

We are looking for an awesome individual with a great sense of networking with Guests, a person with a unique profile whom Guests remember and will come back for his/her service & smile. A person who proudly manages the Babette Bruxelles Restaurant like his/her own one.

Essential and supportive functions :

  • Plan and direct all functions of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operations.
  • Demonstrate positive leadership characteristics which inspire Team Members to meet and exceed standards.
  • Follow the Babette brand standards as set by the Head Office of Naos Hotel Groupe.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor schedules for the operation of all food & beverage outlets to achieve a profitable result.
  • Implement effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs among all subdepartments and monitor the food and beverage budget to ensure efficient operation and that expenditures stay within budget limitations, including achieving budgeted revenue and labour expenses.
  • Regularly review, evaluate, and respond to customer satisfaction and/or dissatisfaction of the individual outlets; recommend new operating and marketing policies whenever a change in demand, customer dissatisfaction, or a change in competitive environment requires such changes.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Team at the head office of Naos Hotel Groupe who manages globally the marketing activities of Babette.
  • Ensure compliance with all Hilton Hotels policies and procedures that relate to food and beverage, as well as Belgian food and beverages regulations (AFSCA….)
  • Hire, train, supervise, develop, discipline, counsel, and evaluate line employees according to our policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the development of the annual budget; develop short and long term financial operating plans.
  • Participate in Manager on Duty coverage program.
  • Keep work area clean and organized.

Profil recherché


You must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that you can perform the essential functions of the job.

You have high level of leadership and service excellence as core expectations.

You have two years prior Food & Beverage management experience in the hotel industry, or you are ready to take up your first Manager role of the F&B Department. You enjoy and work as a Team. You have some excellent communication skills. You are dynamic and like the challenges to exceed targets. You always seek for a great service with your heart. You want to build a strong Team and a great place to work.

You are ready to step up the challenges you may face during the pre-opening process and you want to add an opening experience to your CV. A prior hotel opening experience is a plus.

Thorough knowledge of food and beverage operations including foods, beverages, supervisory aspects, service techniques, and guest interaction. Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills required. Computer literacy and financial management proficiency required. Ability to resolve guest, supervisor and team member conflicts.


Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.

Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods such as layovers following delayed/cancelled flights (as an airport hotel) which result to a high number of unexpected Guests to immediately accommodate.

Fluent in French or/and Dutch to comprehend and communicate job functions to the F&B Team. Ability to write and speak English. A plus is to be bilingual in French and Dutch.
